#365DaysofLearning – The Launch

by | May 12, 2020 | #365DaysofLearning, Blog

On Tuesday, May 12th, I started a new journey…365 days of Learning! I am going to put out a weekly summary of the things that I learned that week. All of these posts have occurred on my LinkedIn. Would love to connect with you there as well!

Last week I attended a session in the #CLOExchange that really inspired me! Ekpedeme “Pamay” M. Bassey, Chief Learning Officer at The Kraft Heinz Company shared her journey of spending at least 10 minutes a day investing in learning, reading, bettering herself. So I am embarking on my own #365DaysOfLearning, and I look forward to sharing my journey and things I am learning!

Learning is so important. And not only learning, but saving or documenting what you are learning. I have heard John C. Maxwell say many times that he reads and files every day, meaning that he saves quotes and bits of information that he finds really interesting from each day’s learning. When I first heard him talk about this, he had folders by major topic.  I have been using Evernote for years to capture things I find interesting that I might want to refer back to.  You never know what you may want to recall to share with a friend, write in your book, or add to a new blog post on karisaylor.com!

How are you growing this year? Be intentional. Invest in yourself. Join me!
